In my personal experience, the 986 is amazing. Out-corners a C7 with ease, still has decent acceleration, can be had very cheaply, and can keep up and even out pace cars that cost 10x as much. A 911 will be slightly better, but not worth the decrease in fun and increase in price. I can’t recommend a 986 enough. Unless you have money to blow and get a Cayman gt4.

If this is comparing for a sincere purchase you have to.
